Since starting this program I’ve definitely become less obsessive over my food choices. I struggled with self love for too long. These discouraging thoughts led to an eating disorder. I struggled to accept myself and my body for who I was and continued to push myself to unhealthy limits. I saw decisions and motivations drastically change in my life. I was not content with life nor anything in it. When I started seeing a counselor, I began to realize that my health is a priority. Because of this realization, I joined the program. Sloane and the other girls helped me realize that I am beautiful just the way I am and that accepting myself is the first step to accepting others. In order to love others, I need to first love myself. I learned that when things begin to spiral out of control, my solution should not be gripping onto control I don't have, but freeing myself from the control I don't need. I live a free and full life now, loving myself, and reminding myself that I am strong, smart, and beautiful. This course is not responsible for changing me; I changed me, but Sloane and her talents sure did push me to do so.
This program changed my eating habits and helped me with a confidence I didn’t have earlier. Sloane taught me how to eat intentionally and love my body. I no longer restrict eating or have an idea I have to look a certain way - I just need to be me! I love my body more than ever. Thanks Slo!
I look at food with love now. I never thought that I would be able to do this. Sloane made me realize that food does not have to be my life and that I do not need to obsesses over it. Through the program, I fully let go of my binge/restrict tendencies and look at food and exercise as something that brings me joy and love rather than a rigid and strict concept. This program has allowed me to let go of the control, not only with my eating, but also when it comes to other aspects of my life such as relationships and work.
